So I have joined a 10-Day Writing Challenge. The theme for today was to have a conversation with your "Selves" through time and hear and record what they would like you to know. Below is my summary output from Day 4. If the idea inspires you then by all means try it. It was fun, sort of like when you sprout bulbs in the winter months and enjoy the fragrant memory and idea of Spring.
Older self wants me to know:
It doesn't matter the way you think it does. Staying in union with your heart and alignment, and with life and nature as they are is more important. The habit of recognising the apparent illusion is the habit that you really want to spend time cultivating because at the moment of transition out of this life it is only that awareness habit that will really serve you. And in the meantime? Play and loving and joy raise your vibration and that of the planet and everyone around you. Creativity and the direction you walk, and the seeds you plant and cultivate are the activities that will serve you in the end. And please treat yourself with a bit more respect, and celebrate your victories a bit more. Enjoy where you are a bit more, and enjoy it exactly as you are without waiting for some future event to happen first. [love and thanks to my older self]
Younger self wants me to know:
Live in love and enjoy our time in nature. You didn't always have trauma and disability shadows; remember how it is to be free in play, and unformed with everything new and fresh before us. Relax now, you are a grownup and a survivor so see the world as all being FOR you rather than against you. You are loved so be the kid you couldn't or wouldn't be back then. Honour us, don't betray us by trying to fit in; we are different and we are supposed to be so. Finally, dragons, fairies, unicorns and all of magical nature are real. Remember that. Remember. [love and thanks to my younger self]
